Sorry to put this here but I put this in "everything else" a few days ago and no one answered.

I used to be able to post multiple pictures here, but the last few times I tried to everything went screwy. Did something change on the forums so we can't do that any more?

                                                            Thanks

Do you reduce the file size of the pictures before you try and post them? You are only allowed so much space for your attachments. If you exceed that, it won't let you post them.

pics are 640X480, same size they have always been.

I was having the same issue. So what I did was post one picture, then edit my post and add another picture, and then edit again and add another picture. I post, edit, and add until I've posted all the pics I want. Lol I'm sure I'm going the long way around but it works for me.

I'll give it a try. Any idea what changed on the site ? If it's happening to both of us I don't think it could be our computers.

We aren't a photo hosting site.  There's room for a few pics, but prefer you use a 3rd party, like:

https://postimages.org/

I am using postimage and have been for some time. Lately though I have trouble posting more than 1 picture. I'm just trying to understand why.

Thanks, I just randomly grabbed three that were on this computer to test out the process for @jbmaine.

Thanks,

What size are your pics. at ? maybe that's my issue?

Original, in other words pretty large.  PostImages resizes automatically.  Then I just copy and paste the "Direct Link."

I think I'm getting confused. My understanding is post image will auto resize to whatever size you pick. My pics are 640 x 480 because that's the size I picked. This size was working for multiple pics. until recently.

Not to hijack but I never know if the site is going to rotate my pics or not.  They are properly orientated when I pick them but come out every which way.?

We don't rotate them at all.  Sometimes if you upload from an iPhone, they get spun.  Previewing in the Windows photo app, and rotating them there fixes it.

I sized the pics to half of what they were, still no joy. Any other thoughts?

I normally resize to 1mega pixel and work fine for me, I just posted 2 images in one post not long ago. How many images you are trying to post at once?

If you see some that post multiple images, most of them use third party web site like the one @J Franchoposted or Facebook or imgure or something like that.

As Just James indicated above - resize; in other words, compress your picture file data size down. You are not compressing the length and width dimensions - you are compressing the file data.   There are many ways to do this.  If you are using a PC; one way is to import the original picture into a Word doc.  Then compress it down and save the new compressed file copy back as a picture.  This will save a lot of data space, as you will go from approximately 2MB to 96KB per picture.

Hopefully the above will help someone understand, and not confuse the issue more.  I'm not a IT expert, the above was described in a way that makes sense to me; someone that's just one level above just turning on a PC and working the keyboard.

Thanks for the help. I'll play around with it some more. I used to be able to post 3-5 pics. no issue. Now I'll put one in, and if I want to put a space between pics, or a caption, I'll hit enter and the little bar will jump to the bottom of the page, leaving another whole pics worth blank. If I don't leave a space, I can put two pics in. If I try for a third, It cuts it in half when I post. Any more than that and it leaves them out.
