No problem getting in any canals and motoring around.  Leave the canal and go in the flats and you may have a problem.

There are a few weirs in the canals that are only a problem during low water conditions.  Don;t run wide open if you don;t know the area.  I always watch what others do if i don;t know an area, on any body of water.  Most canals are 8 to 12 feet deep.

I have a 19ft mako skiff, will I be able to get my boat into the Everglades canals?

You should be able to fish many canals with a boat of this size in the Everglades canals. I have fished in a 23 foot open fisherman boat with one of my friends in the Everglades and we probably did better that day than most people who fish with regular bass boats. Make sure to pay attention to the depth finder to see how deep you are, stay in the middle of the canal, avoid areas that are too shallow for your boat and you should have a good time on the water.
