HeyCoach Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 I change the reel handle to the right so I can reel and cast with my right hand with my spinning rods. I will sometimes put a Swim Senko on a shaky head and swim it around lay downs. 1 Quote
CrankFate Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I use softer, lighter rods than most recommend. I don’t like the fast tip rods that are all the rage these days. I use brighter artificial colors than people recommend. I fish braid with a 12” or shorter fluorocarbon leader. I adjust my bait a lot to find the right depth for the fish, so if I was drop shot fishing I might start 20” up from the sinker and keep lowering the hook down 2-4” until I get it in the strike zone where I get the most bites. And I agree with people that say line capacity is overrated, except for very large types of fish. I use a bass casting setup for just about all types of fish freshwater or saltwater. Quote

The material is just way better in my opinion than the rubber skirts when it comes to the action of the chatterbait. Quote
