Lumberjack_lou Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Good afternoon y'all, I have had a Solix 15 and a Helix 10 installed on my boat for about 8 months now and am still fighting what seems to be compatibility problems. I have invested a small fortune in getting the necessary cables and adapters to make everything talk to each-other. I have both of my control units up to date with the latest software and still can't seem to get my helix to see my solix transducers and vice versa. I feel like this should be possible and am just missing something minor in my set up. one of the major hurtles has been getting a thru hull transducer (xp9 20) to talk to my solix. i have acquired a spliter cable to go from 9 pins to 14 pins to no avail. any help on this topic would be much appreciated and i will be making a video that describes this struggle in detail. Very Best, Lou Quote
Tim Kelly Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Have you spoken to Humminbird? I believe the two systems are not fully compatible, so you may be trying to do something that's not designed to work. Quote
StratDude Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I read on another forum, from a Humminbird tech, that when a Helix and Solix are networked, only waypoints can be shared. Quote
