Super User slonezp Posted May 7, 2018 Super User Posted May 7, 2018 Any reason I shouldn't get a Bond Arms derringer calibered in 45/410? Quote
Crappiebasser Posted May 7, 2018 Posted May 7, 2018 i have one and its not bad. The trigger pull feels like it's 20lbs and they kick like a mule but that's pretty much all derringers I've shot. Never used LC in mine just 410 buck shot. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted May 9, 2018 Super User Posted May 9, 2018 Large caliber in small gun means the recoil goes straight to your hand. But as a fun gun that you occasionally shoot, they ain't bad. I shot a derringer back about 5 yrs ago. Guy had one at the local range/stripping pit. Wouldn't want to shoot that every day. Quote

Wouldnt be for daily carry. Looking to just use it as a "truck gun" just in case. Quote
Super User NHBull Posted May 9, 2018 Super User Posted May 9, 2018 There are single stack 45’s that are only slightly bigger with 5-6 rounds......or go smaller caliber Quote

Multiple people on another forum suggested a snub nose 38. My thought was using it only in the truck calibered in 410 for a close quarter situation. Quote
Super User NHBull Posted May 10, 2018 Super User Posted May 10, 2018 I get it! I have fired this a lot and it is pretty good for what it is https://www.springfield-armory.com/products/xd-e-3-3-single-stack-45acp/ My truck carry is going to be a drako https://www.centuryarms.com/century/century-firearms/ak-pistols Quote
