Bolt d'Oro finished 2nd to justify in the santa anita derby mind you biscuits-mcCraken-good samaritan all really good horses. Bolt d'Oro ran in the k derby and finished 12th 24ls behind justify. and is 7/2 on the board. Quote

halochef Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 MENDELSSON who raced in the Kentucky Derby ran at Belmont park in STAKES. Purse $300,000 Dwyer S. (Grade III). many had this horse to win as it won by several Lghs in a race in Dubai. a graded stakes race. but finished very badly in the derby. and finished 3rd @ 3/2. FIRENZE FIRE won the race and did run in the derby. next is the Haskell at Monmouth Park in a few weeks. no word on JUSTIFY. might pass this race and do the Jim Dandy or the Travers at Saratoga in aug. or might even wait till the Breeders cup Classic in early Nov.
