“Her mudder was a mudder”

i had the exact same thought, except it wasnt Kramer who said that. Kramer was listening to two other guys talk about horse racing and the weather and one of those guys said it...still hilarious though

Well crap. I could have sworn Kramer was saying it to the other two guys, I haven’t seen it for years, but it was the first thing I thought of when I saw the track ?

Will be an interesting last race for the Triple Crown.

Would be great to have a new Triple Crown winner.

All I can think about is that the track will be dry and we will not have a Triple Crown winner.

His jockey Mike Smith will probably hold him back this time and try to pace him. The race is a mile and a half. Don't think he can go wire to wire in the lead. Will need gas in the tank at the top of the stretch to make a run for the Triple Crown. If he gets a good ride, believe he will win.

13 horses have been in his position before with a Derby & Preakness wins and lost the Belmont...

i will bet against JUSTIFY.  if the preakness was a few yards longer the colt gets beat.  some fresh horses in the belmont.  BLENDED CITIZEN  won the peter pan at bel that is a prep race for the race.  plus they don't call the track the "Big Sandy" for nothing.  very tiring track with that distance.

The latest Vegas odds have Justify at 4/5 odds...his workouts have been very good and he's fit as a fiddle...he's almost 17 hands in height and built like a tank...how Baffert decides to run him will be interesting...the field is nine...

do you want 4/5 on a win bet?  $3.60.  do not think he will be that low the day.  ALL will bet Justify on top for EX and TRI's and will not pay much.  as far as fit as a fiddle....4 races in 70~ days..tough for a 3 yo. now the longest race yet.  but could be a improving 3 yo.  but...i think a couple others are stronger.  rest.  and there is a angle called a "tandem" race.  horses facing others in a new races that lost can/will come back on the next race out and win.   i do not think justify is is like "american pharoah". last triple crown winner

The prospect that Justify may attempt to sweep all three races of the Triple Crown series on something other than a fast track is plenty possible.

Forecasts from the National Weather Service (40 percent), The Weather Channel (40 percent) and AccuWeather (60 percent) all now include rain possibilities in Saturday's forecast for Elmont, N.Y., where they'll head postward for the 2018 Belmont Stakes at 6:46 p.m. ET.

this fellow does big races.  his handicapping software is over a grand.

Now you're getting into the weeds...my father has used many systems starting with his days at the New Orleans Fair Grounds, and does not think Jusitify will win...he comes from a gene pool of speed and not endurance but there were nay sayers with Secretariat too..

I'll be pulling for him and look for Mike Smith his jockey to put him in a position to win...

Saturday will be interesting...

Gonna stop by the track and put $50 on Vino Rosso. The name sounds like a mob-owned horse and you know what they say about mob-owned horses. They run like they've been shot out of a Cadillac. :gun2:

yes these are not weeds.  its not a system.  its based on feet per second.  this fellow is one of about a several that base on a certain Dr.s teaching's.  pace analysis.  that includes  fulcrum-ability time-turn time-balance time-energy distribution- total pace potential.  all can be done by hand but the software does it in a few seconds.
