Ksam1234 Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 So up in Ny we finally had some decent weather out of the 30 degree temps and the lakes all unfroze and the sun has been out woohoo! So of course I had to take advantage and went out picking apart the banks with a spinnerbait and crankbaits and just crushed them! Around 25 total and a few nice chunkers. 16 Quote

StrikePrince Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 25, d**n, that is crazy. I've never come close to those numbers here in the PNW. Thatd be so fun, congrats. 1 Quote

BuzzHudson19c Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Congrats. Same here. I went to a local pond after work. Got a bunch of bass, a decent pickerel, and a few crappie. You are right about the crankbaits too. I notice the fish were holding pretty shallow and switched from an xrap to a squarebill and crushed them. 85 degrees today got the wheels turning and the reaction bit going. BTW you are way smarter than I wearing your sun gear. I went out in a tank top and got roasted. 1 Quote

Yeah I tried filling first and using jerkbaits and nothing, changed over to a lipless and got one on the first cast so I had to continue, an yesh the 85 degree sun deft calls for sun gear. 2 hours ago, StrikePrince said: 25, d**n, that is crazy.
