Want to upgrade from an 80mm to 90mm - where should I look, do I need to match to a certain model, price, other considerations..?  Thx

I think the Tatula handle assembly is one of the better values. You can really spend as much, or as little, as you like. The carbon handles with cork knobs are over $100. They go down from there. As stated above, tackle trap is the best place to look.

Will it work on other Daiwa models, i.e. Zillion, Steez, Fuego... in other words interchangeable?  Or has to be for a Tatula?  Thx

All the Daiwa handles are interchangeable.

The Tat handle assembly or Zillion assembly would be good picks. These are relatively inexpensive and are designed for reels that use a swept drag star. If you have a reel that has non swept drag star you will need a straight handle.

If your reel doesn't have a swept drag star, you can buy one of those for your reel as well from TackleTrap.  But you may have to also buy a new cast control cap that the swept star will clear.  I put all three on an Alphas 103L and really like the results.

I've looked on the TackleTrap fairly frequently and most stuff seems to always be out of stock.  Maybe contact Daiwa directly?

If it’s out of stock at TTT then that means it’s on back order from Daiwa also. They keep their inventory up to date.  What reel are you trying to buy a handle for? As mentioned the zillion/tatula assembly is the best value.

I think the last one I was looking for was a 90mm zillion sv handle to replace the 80mm stock one on my SSSV.  I never pulled the trigger months ago when it was in stock.  I even signed up for email notifications to let me know when they got them back in.  That was quite a few months ago and I haven't heard anything.

Looking at getting the Zillion handle to go on my Fuego CT so I can get new knobs. I'd want the Small Handle Nut Plate and Screw set, right?

Edit: emailed TackleTrap, need the large

I'm an idiot....I read somewhere that the Fuego's knobs are riveted on and can't be changed, apparently that is the spinning reel. Never tried to take apart my Fuego CT handle, so when the Zillion handle showed up yesterday I thought man these look exactly alike, took apart the Fuego handle and sure enough, removable knobs. Oh well, live and learn. At least the Zillion knobs have bearings, so a little upgrade anyway.
