Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of the major differences between these two mostly sensitivity. I know the Loomis is more tip heavy. Debating one buying one or the other for a spinning set up

They are both nice. I have spinning rods in the IMX pro, Shimano Conquest and Dobyns. The Dobyns is the better value in a spinning rod. Very good sensitivity and a lot better warranty.

Thabks for your imput. What makes the dobyns a better value.  Both rods are at the 350 mark and warranty is basically the same...break it pay cash get it replaced or am I missing something in the fine print

Both rods are $100 for the warranty service. $100 shipped for the Loomis, $80 + $20 shipping for the Dobyns.

I have 1 dobyns, now it’s a Sierra series as I couldn’t find a champion or champion xp in stock and I have been super please with it. I have played with the champions a few timed.

i have 1 Loomis E6X and 1 imx pro and man do I ever love that imx pro. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. I’d have to vote the loomis for sure as they are same price and same warranty. Not sure what was meant by the dobyns being better value?

I just take mine into my dealer. No shipping charges. All my rods a Champion series, so the cost is less their also.

Ya I went with the champ extreme I just couldn' get over how long the handle was on the model I was looking at in the imx pro series
