KayakFish107 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I actually like using a ewg 5/0 (lightwire gammy, not thick superline) on 4”-5” Yum dingers. Solely because the slight increase in weight on one end of the bait when weightless t-rigged gives it an interesting gliding action on the drop. I’ve found that on a couple occasions (only been bass Fishing for a little over a year!) that the bass loved it that way for some reason. Maybe because it looks like it’s “fleeing” instead of just a straight wiggling fall. Quote

Other than that, I know some guys use them for big 12" worms and the like. But most of my rods don't have that kind of setting power so I don't even use the lizards much tbh. One of these days I'll pick up an MH or H rod that will do that. Quote
