Hello everyone, I am new member here from an Island called Mauritius. I love fishing a lot. I haven't catch anything big yet but I keep on trying.

I need to upgrade my fishing gears but currently cannot afford if anyone has any tips on how to catch bigger bass please let me know. If anyone has old gears that they are not using, I would really appreciate it.

This fishing is so addicting...I keep thinking of it 24/7 I even have dreams about it.

How y'all are? ?

You're on the right site, wrong section!

I would suggest asking this in the general bass fishing section.

The best advice I ever got about targeting bigger bass was to go where they are. If you go where the average is larger, you greatly increase your odds more than any specific technique or bait can. You can always target the biggest bass in a body of water with bigger baits and baits that generally produce bigger bites. But if that's a pond full of dinks, you might go a long time between bites and get discouraged.

Drag a jig. Throw big swim baits. Spinner baits is another big fish bait. Big fish are way smarter than the smaller ones, they have been around for awhile. They have seen a lot of bait, try throwing something that they have never seen or throw something that won't give them time to think about biting it. Make the reaction strike happen. Good luck bro
