The blue herons are always eating the bass out of my pond. Not sure how they see them in that mudhole, but I watched on catch 6 8-12 inch bass in about an hour one morning while I was in my deer blind. Ospreys will certainly catch a bass too. I had one carry a bass right over my head at Table Rock this weekend in fact.

You've never seen Jeremy Wade on River Monsters on Discovery Channel or Animal Planet? You should really check it out.

Yeah I’ve seen it a couple times, but it’s been a long time. We don’t do cable or satellite. Thanks though ??

I can't stand the guy.  Watch Hunt For Big Fish w/ Dahlberg.  Way better.

Good choice.

We don't do broadcast TV either.  I haven't seen a commercial in so long I've forgotten how annoying they are.

Same with radio.  I listen to Sirius channels that don't have advertisements...

Ever notice how most shows like that follow a pattern through out every episode? Usually like

1. Intro

2. Background

3. Drama

4. Happy ending

its like every episode is going to be the episode where something doesn’t get built, somebody is going to get eaten, some truck is going to break, and they all end in success?

We do broadcast tv, mostly the channels that run the old shows, but my wife could live off Netflix for years!

Mine could too...and my daughter.  I'd rather read, or look for informative info about my hobbies on the internet...it's quieter that way.

We don't miss broadcast TV at all, and one particular kind of advertising...the kind that seems to appear during election years...is blessedly missing from our lives.

News stopped being news a long while back, so there's no loss there either.
