JG233 Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Lunker City baits are awesome and well-priced. Check out their paddle tails/grubster. Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted April 10, 2018 Super User Posted April 10, 2018 Check out hogy lures. They have larger saltwater options 1 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted April 11, 2018 Global Moderator Posted April 11, 2018 Lots of options if you check out saltwater fishing stores. I have some big Fin-S-Fish I use on occasion. The Mann's Shadow is/was another good option if they're still out there. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted April 11, 2018 Super User Posted April 11, 2018 Going after bull reds? I was going to criticize but actually I may buy some large sluggos to dance over lily pad fields Quote
mattkenzer Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 This thread reminds me of my Split Tail Sluggo days .... Do they still make them? Quote
Big Swimbait Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 M-Pack Lures. Whatever you do, don't use Disco Violet http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/M-Pack_Lures_Shad_Soft_Jerkbait/descpage-MPLS.html Quote

AggieBassin10 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 A lot of saltwater companies have bigger fluke style baits and they're usually really durable Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted April 12, 2018 Super User Posted April 12, 2018 One of my most effective big bass lures in off-colored oxbow lakes is the black 9" Sluggo. I've used the 9" Fin-S fish for stripers a lot in the river here. Lunker City makes some darn good baits. Been around a long time too. Quote
Mr. Aquarium Posted April 12, 2018 Author Posted April 12, 2018 yea ive been using slugos for ever. i really love the zoom fluke tho, the profile, weight, and action Quote
