Hey all,

I am in the market for my first inflatable pfd, to be used while fishing on my boat.

there are a few out there that range quite a difference in price and reviews, personal experience would be very appreciated.

thanks.

I have 2 of them, the old SOSpender which I can't stand to wear and a Mustang which I wear and don't even know that I have it on.

I recently had this discussion with Jig Man:

That discussion led me to buy a Mustang Elite 28K:

I’ve used it over my winter fishing gear and really like it:

The kid who’s my partner for our bass fishing club tourneys now wears my old Onyx A-33 Insight, which he says is way more comfortable than the Cabela’s brand auto inflatable PFD I used to make him wear:

I have a couple mustang MIT ones that I use, after a few minutes I don’t even notice them on. Pretty good price for some piece of mind for the whole family.
