Buffdaddy54 Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Got a question I need help with. Was out today and found a lake that is shallow, looks to be 7 feet or less and has a lot of pondshield and millfoil. What baits would gravitate to? Quote
J.Vincent Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Depends on how spread out or thick the vegetation is. Personally I would not overlook a 1/4 or 3/8 oz Jig with craw trailer, and I would consider a Senko rigged Weedless. 1 1 Quote

Also, Rage Tail Baby Craw T-rigged, Structure Bug J-rigged, Space Monkey and the Swimmer. 1 Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted April 7, 2018 Super User Posted April 7, 2018 I would try a weightless fluke, weightless senko, or a shallow running crankbait. I would also break out my punch rig to fish through the heavier slop. You might also try a top water bait if the temp is warm enough. Quote
Super User tcbass Posted April 7, 2018 Super User Posted April 7, 2018 Homemade Teckel Sprinker frog or Booyah Toad Runner if that's found to be a good lure. Rage Bug T-Rigged weightless, works on top as a frog or dropped down. Quote
