Got a question I need help with. Was out today and found a lake that is shallow, looks to be 7 feet or less and has a lot of pondshield and millfoil. What baits would gravitate to?

Depends on how spread out or thick the vegetation is. Personally I would not overlook a 1/4 or 3/8 oz Jig with craw trailer, and I would consider a Senko rigged Weedless.

Also, Rage Tail Baby Craw T-rigged, Structure Bug J-rigged, Space Monkey and the Swimmer.

I would try a weightless fluke, weightless senko, or a shallow running crankbait.  I would also break out my punch rig to fish through the heavier slop.  You might also try a top water bait if the temp is warm enough.

Homemade Teckel Sprinker frog or Booyah Toad Runner if that's found to be a good lure.

Rage Bug T-Rigged weightless, works on top as a frog or dropped down.
