Heading to Lake Guntersville for some fishing. Any recent insight would be awesome (lures, techniques, overall conditions of the lake). Thanks

Returned from Guntersville 2 days ago. Fishing was tough. Mainly fished Mink Creek area and fished in less than 10 feet. Caught one 6.7 lb first day in cove between Honeycomb Creek and the dam using a green chatterbait. She was in about 2' of water and had not spawned.  Caught a few small ones that were very light colored that would indicate they had just moved up shallow. Caught the small ones on a variety of baits. Talked to several others and all were having difficulty, including a good local stick. Changing temps and weather seem to have been the predominant excuses for the slow bite. Not as much grass where we were as in the past.
