Braid from China

Anybody familiar with any of the cheap braid coming out of China? Coworker gave me this spool and don't know much about it.

If you can get over the child labor...  lol. I've been using 15lb for 2 years with no issues.

I saw a line strength test in a fishing magazine and all of the cheap Chinese-made braid failed miserably. But I’m old enough to remember when cheap Japanese-made products were all thought to be of low quality, so that might have changed.
