Lead Head Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Can anyone explain how this works? Will it just slide over the threads of the reel seat and be like a small foregrip or is there more to it? Couldn't find anything on YouTube and product descriptions just don't tell me enough. Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted April 4, 2018 Super User Posted April 4, 2018 That is made to fit one of these http://www.anglersworkshop.com/Fuji-Spinning-Seats/Fuji-V-Spinning-seat-with-Hidden-Thread-Hood Also, fits newer fuji casting seats. And, older KDPS hoods if you trim one a bit. Quote
Lead Head Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 Thanks, you say it fits newer Fuji casting seats so getting it on a ECS will work? It looks like you bond it to the sleeve that would replace the stock lock nut. Does that sound about right? Quote

For an ECS seat you will need a KDPS hood; which you will have to trim down. http://www.anglersworkshop.com/Fuji-Spinning-Seats/Fuji-Traditional-Metal-Hood_2 Quote
Lead Head Posted April 5, 2018 Author Posted April 5, 2018 Gotcha... thanks for your time that is exactly what I was trying to figure out. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 That may not fit over existing guides if that's what you have in mind. New build installation is easy. Quote
Lead Head Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 It would be on a new build. I decided if I'm going to get into more expensive rods I might as well build them myself and have exactly what I want. I'm currently gathering information and saving up money. It's going to take some time, but I'll get there. Let me go ahead and apologize now for all the newbie questions I'll be asking in the future. Thanks again for the help Quote
