Hey Guys, I’m looking at getting a rod for frog fishing but don’t want to go over $110. The two I’ve picked out is the Shimano Exage 7’2” or 7’6” Heavy not really sure, and a Dobyns Fury 735. I’m not sure which one to get, and the Dobyns is $10 more and I was wondering if it was worth it.

Worth the $10? It’s $10 and it’s subjective. I would just pick out whichever feels best to you, I’ve heard great things from Dobyns Fury and pretty good things from the people who have tried Shimano’s Rods. I’m going to probably buy a Dobyns Fury soon. Good luck.

Absolutely love my Dobyn's Fury!! Great rod. I have the 7"3  MH and its great for everything, including frogs.

I really like the balance on the Dobyns rods, but honestly I have never touched an Exage. Go somewhere you can handle both with a reel on them.

I never tried a Shimano Exage but I've bought 3 Dobyns fury in the last couple months couldn't  be happier, very high quality at that price range.
