FCPhil Posted April 2, 2018 Posted April 2, 2018 I just wanted to post a few lures I made that have produced fish for me in the last few weeks. The tail on the green crankbait gives it very unique action I have found. 9 Quote

Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted May 15, 2018 Super User Posted May 15, 2018 There is nothing more rewarding than creating a lure out of a piece of wood and catching fish with them. I'm having trouble posting pictures, so I'm unable to show my crankbaits. Don't stop.....keep creating!! Falcon Quote
FCPhil Posted June 9, 2018 Author Posted June 9, 2018 Here is a few more that have produced, the walking bait has really been working. 2 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted June 10, 2018 Super User Posted June 10, 2018 I wish I still had the first lure I made. It was nothing more than an old spoon that I hammered on and drilled 2 holes in, added some split rings and a treble hook and I had a casting spoon. Caught trout, catfish, pickerel, pike, bass and even snagged a sunfish or two. Quote

I will never forget the feeling of catching my first quality fish on a bait that I made from scratch materials. All these years later, the novelty still hasn't wore off. Quote
