Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted March 29, 2018 Global Moderator Posted March 29, 2018 So I knocked a hole in my lower unit on my bigger boat, been fishing out of my smaller one for a couple weeks. I Took the 2d lowrance off the trolling motor while big boat is in the shop and figured I would somehow rig it to my small boat without drilling holes (no trolling motor on small boat). Used a nalgene half full of water as my surrogate trolling motor head and it works pretty well! (Feel free to laugh) 1 Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted March 29, 2018 Super User Posted March 29, 2018 I still pull out and use my Lowrance Lo-K-Tor from time to time, just because. Your unit looks like it's reading just fine that way. Quote

I bought it strictly to use on the water when I want. Have an older original as you mention still new in the box that never makes it out of its office display. Quote
