Hey all. I’m checking out portable diamond stone sharpeners for on the water touch ups.

What grit/grain is recommended? I’m looking at 400 - 600.

Thanks!

I've used the diamond file from bass pro.  Has two different grits.  Works well

Whatever my wife's nail file grit is works great for me.

She keeps changing the hiding places to them, nail clippers and nail polish on me....

I stopped at the local Walgreens to get some "hard as nails" nail polish and the checkout gal was like "This color will look great on you!"  I blushed.

I use this one and keep it on a lanyard I wear around my neck that also has my line clipper on it. I find that if it is ultra accessible I am much more prone to use it. It's only a couple inches long.

No, but the girls at Michael's keep wanting to hook me up with their brothers when I go to check out with feathers, beads, and jewelry pliers...

Doesn’t that stuff stink forever? I was thinking to use clear coat spray for doing the same thing. Cover hooks, Spray on and sprinkle glitter.
