Buffdaddy54 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Do you use a scent attractant and if so which one? Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 21, 2018 Super User Posted March 21, 2018 MegaStrike if I want it to be a clean application. A secret concoction from Dr. Jones at Berkley if I want it to be messy. Doesn't matter. Use scent!!!! Quote

Dtrombly Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Yum crawfish spray and garlic/chartreuse dye from Spike It. Quote
MichaelCopeland Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 J.J.'s Magic clear garlic and Spike It crawfish spray. Don't use them all the time though. I use a lot of Strike King Rage Tail plastics. The coffee scent in them seem to work better than the attractants do. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 21, 2018 Global Moderator Posted March 21, 2018 JJ's and Megastrike if I use any. Quote
mattkenzer Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 Megastrike, JJ's Magic and Smelly Jelly .... Quote

Super User NHBull Posted March 21, 2018 Super User Posted March 21, 2018 I still don’t know if thanks attractes them, but do believe they hold it a tad longer give an extra second to set the hook 1 Quote
Cak920 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I’ve never used them but question for those that do. What type of baits do you use them on? Quote

Pretty much everything but a spybait. On cranks I put them where the water hits the bait, top on cranks and on the top in front of the line tie on a lipless, to help disperse the scent. Quote

bassguytom Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I use mega strike. Especially when the water is cold and you are moving baits slower. Quote
nascar2428 Posted March 21, 2018 Posted March 21, 2018 I use Megastrike and Pro cure. Both are effective. Quote
