They don't allow the public. You have to be a part of the fishing "community" so to speak.

Well that's no bueno. Thanks for info. It's kind of disappointing, one might think if they let the public in to get a sneak peak and get hands on future items that sales would go up or if they sold some of the items at the show that would make money.

They will sell them regardless. No need to let the public in when every youtuber and media personality has coverage from there.

ICAST is a manufacturer's showcase for new products.

Happens in all industries.

The construction industry has their show in Las Vegas each year.

At these shows orders are submitted for the new products and friendships are reignited. Great show for those in the fishing industry.

So get good grades; get your college degree in marketing; apply and get a job with a fishing manufacturing company; and maybe, just maybe, you can go to a future ICAST on behalf of your employer.

I sincerely hope one day you can attend an ICAST event and enjoy making new friends and contacts in the bass fishing industry.

It's a trade show, so technically its not open to the public. Folks find a way to get in. Think about it though, would you want to go to the slaughter house cause you like hot dogs? We used to take some VIP customers to InterBike if they promised not to act a fool (most can't help it).
