Jmp_37 Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Anyone use theys? Who do you rig them? Would a 5/0 dew and a 5/8oz bullet weight sound good? Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 16, 2018 Global Moderator Posted March 16, 2018 Haven't heard of them, but I'd guess a 5/0 will be really close to being too small for a bait that size. I'd probably look towards something like a 6/0 or even 7/0 EWG like a Gamakatsu EWG Monster hook. Weight size will depend on what you're doing with them. They weigh almost 1 1/4oz without adding anything, so you could use 1/4oz and get a nice, slow fall if you're fishing sparse cover. Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted March 16, 2018 Super User Posted March 16, 2018 I recently discovered the company and decided to order some. Haven't got them yet but I plan on using a 6/0 flipping hook and a punch weight, or using them as trailers on 1oz jigs. Quote
MagnumBaits Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 Hi Guys, We recommend at least a 6/0 EWG or flippin hook, but 7/0 or 8/0 would be more ideal. Weight will depend on what you are trying to do and your water's conditions. Typically 1/2 is pretty good for most 10' and shallower water. Hope this helped!!! -D-Troot On 3/16/2018 at 3:49 PM, MassYak85 said: I recently discovered the company and decided to order some. If you ordered from TackleWarehouse you should receive them soon, we just sent boxes full of goods to them. If you ordered directly through us, shoot us a follow up email or message on social media if you have any concerns. Thanks! -D-Troot 4 1 Quote

Any specific 7/8 or 1 ounce jig head recommendations to pair for this beefy pig/jig? Quote

This guy only posted once then never again...and that was 4-3/4 years ago...he hasn't even logged in for the last 3-1/2 years...so probably won't see this question here at all. 1 Quote
