Put the boat in at mm41 ramp on Saturday the 10th a little before sunrise. We traveled West, back to Collier and started fishing the southern canal. It was a beautiful, but chilly morning, with the first bass coming to the boat about 10 minutes into fishing. The morning bite was productive, it seemed to get really good from 7:30-8:30. We fished against the wind, traveling east, throwing mostly flukes and the occasional shakeyhead and chatterbait. The wind really picked up around 10-10:30ish so we jumped around to a couple bridges and then allowed the wind to drift us back to the ramp. The boat was on the trailer by noon and we had landed 37 bass (3 3lbs), 1 oscar, and numerous shellcracker. Overall, it was a fun day considering the cold front pushing through.

Thank you for your report. The bass fishing is on fire in the Everglades right now since the water level is dropping and its every easy to catch +50 bass in 1 day if a person wanted to.
