2tall79 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Being that they don't offer it, does anyone have any idea what I could add to get a black dye? And yes, before you ask, I've tried all the other dyes available. JJ's seems to be the only true stain.......rather than a surface coating. I guess a sharpie is an option but it seems like such a pain. Thanks Quote
bigturtle Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 drop some black food dye or something into the clear one, see how well that works 1 Quote
KDW96 Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 You might try-RIT DYE. Check walmat or joann fabric. 1 Quote

bassin is addicting Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 I know it's not as good as JJ's....but since JJ's doesn't come in black... I do have some Spike-it in black... Quote

mattkenzer Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 As i am sure most are aware that double dipping JJ's Magic creates alternative colors .... no recipe for black. Orange = Chartreuse + Menthylate Green = Chartreuse + Blue Purple = Blue + Menthylate Brown = Blue + Red 1 Quote
