SWVABass Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Which would you buy the pq2 or the arachnid for pitching trigs and jigs up to 3/4 oz? All in out is welcome thanks! Quote
riverbasser Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 My vote goes to the pro qualifier. Quality reel 2 Quote
Junger Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 The Arachnid is a rebranded Daiwa Tatula Type R. 2 Quote

nosdog2 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 You just missed the sale for the PQ2. I have the original PQ and love that reel. Was walking around BP during the fishing sale and was going to pick another up for $79, then the guy told me the combos were on sale for $99. Couldn't pass up the deal. Quote
Finnz922 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 As long as Cabela's are Daiwas, they will be my vote. Quote
blckshirt98 Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 As people have said if you like and have confidence in Daiwa gear, get the Cabela's. Quote
Poolshark Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Diawa or doyo? Which do you like better? I have a couple of pro q's and lews lfs and aside from their breaking systems and color. They are undistiguishable to me. Their frames literally have the same indentations in the same places. I would always favor a Diawa myself. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted March 7, 2018 Super User Posted March 7, 2018 AllI know is stay away from PQ spinning reels they are junk! The PQ baitcaster is ok! Like the others have said about Cabela’s reels. Quote
keltonz Posted March 7, 2018 Posted March 7, 2018 Considering that the Arachnid is 50% more expensive than the PQ2, you can't really compare them. But I have two PQs and they're fine reels. Quote
th365thli Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 My Pro Qualifiers lasted me 5-7 years of use before I upgraded. And they were still going strong when I traded them in. Quote
johnD. Posted March 8, 2018 Posted March 8, 2018 The new bps reels are impressive. Same as a lew's/doyo oem. Quote
