InFishingWeTrust Posted August 8, 2018 Posted August 8, 2018 Think it could be some thing like a tapered leader. I think thats how in fly fishing leaders are. Rigged and pegged in place tied leader going towards the eye. Stiffness to spring out just enough and light enough tip for action? Just trying to figure out what it is exactly. Nevermind. Theres a video on youtube can see how its rigged. Quote
bassguytom Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 I’ve used the double fluke rig and have caught fish with it. I have never fished it as fast as Aaron Martin does. I will be trying that next time out. Thanks for posting that. Quote

Thanks for posting that. Got a small lake near me that I wanna try his method on. Seems easy enough to rig up before you head out. Gotta check to see if I got any swivels ? Quote

About 15-20 years ago when my mom searched all over for the banjo minnow to buy for xmas/birthday -the fish shop owner would just laugh at her. Needless to say after 1000's of fish I feel I have had the last laugh as I have outdone many tournament fishermen on the original banjo minnow. I did have swap out hooks and rings- but now I have it down to a science and any type of day it simply will produce. As for the double fluke- for me has been a line twisting nightmare. Quote
