gschoono Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 The next FLW tour event is coming to my home lake (Lake Lanier) next weekend. I've never attended a bass tournament before, so I'm looking for some advice on how best to go about it. Be there early for launch? I assume Weigh-in is the prime time to be there. What happens at the venue in between? I'll be there on Friday (Day 2). Seems like that would be a good day to meet the most anglers before the cut. Do I need to buy a ticket in advance? All advice appreciated. Thanks! Quote
Super User Darren. Posted March 2, 2018 Super User Posted March 2, 2018 Welcome aboard! No experience with watching a tourney (other than on TV), so can't really help. But enjoy your time! Plenty here have been to tourneys, so advice a comin'. Quote
gschoono Posted March 7, 2018 Author Posted March 7, 2018 Bumping back to the top.... Any advice on how best to attend as a spectator? Quote
Super User Gundog Posted March 7, 2018 Super User Posted March 7, 2018 Sorry I can't help ya. I have been to BASS tourneys and they were a blast. Got there a couple of hours before weigh-ins and got to cruise in a new skeeter bass boat, got some free swag from Milwaukee's best, and when the pros came in, got to scope out their boats and the gear they were using. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys bass fishing. Quote
