I have had my charger for a long time but, I am afraid it gave up the ghost. The choices are too many for my little mind. I would love some idea's from any guys whom have had good experiances with a brand. I had a Dual Pro. I need a three bank as I run a 36v system. Any ideas? I kind of liked the looks of he Minnkota brand. Thanks. ;)

I had a dual pro which bit the bullet.  I priced some and finally called dual pro.  They were $30 cheaper than Bass Pro and offered me a $100 discount on a new one if I would send them the old one.  So I ordered it and sent them the old unit and saved $130.  They also paid shipping for the return. ;)

The reviews on Minn Kota chargers are really bad.  I just ordered a rebuilt one from Dual Pro.

Call Dual Pro and tell them your problems.  I bet they make you a great offer on another one.  Mine is 10 years old (3-bank) and has run 24/7 all that time and still going strong.  I'd buy another in a heartbeat!

Mine was 12 years old and I ran it also 24/7. I will call dual pro and see what they can do for me. Any charger that took the beating I gave it deserves another 12 years I guess. Thanks guys. I dump and reload my batteries so much in the winter on the Susquehanna its a wonder it held out that long.

If this makes you feel better about calling DualPro...........I once saw the email on another board for the owner of DualPro.  I emailed him and told him how happy I was with the unit, how old it was, and how I'd buy another if this one ever went bad.  He mailed me right back, thanked me for the kind words and told me to contact them when the time came and they'd fix me up with a good buy on a new one.
