TheUltimateAngler777 Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 From a performance standpoint, do you prefer split grip or single gripped rods. Also, cork or EVA foam? Quote
Jimmy Green Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Split grip and I prefer Winn Gripps on my reaction, fast moving baits. You can look up fx custom rods and read about the differences. Or pm me I will send ya a link. Quote
CroakHunter Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Full cork Split winn grips Split cork Split eva-don't like those only have 1 rod with these Quote
LionHeart Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 I think I prefer Winn over all others, then it's kind of a toss up. Prefer the look of cork, but the feel of good quality EVA. Full vs split, don't too much care. Quote
kingmotorboat Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Split grip cork for everything but flipping, flipping I'm full grip Quote
Super User Angry John Posted February 25, 2018 Super User Posted February 25, 2018 Casting rod full rear grip cfx carbon. Spinning split grips cork. Got no time for Eva hate the feel. Quote
LAO162 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 I appreciate well implemented EVA, synthetic and cork composite handles. But, I'll take cork over cheap EVA. Split or full depends upon the execution and ultimately the "feel" of the particular rod. Quote
tbone1993 Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Spinning split grip always, casting is 50/50 cork 100% of the time. I like how it ages and also how you wear into them. Quote
Chowderhead Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 Split/Cork is my preference but not a deal breaker. Quote
Super User Further North Posted February 26, 2018 Super User Posted February 26, 2018 I voted for the EVA foam, though I actually prefer the material St. Croix uses. Quote
