Nice fish! You're tougher than I am to be dressed like that in 35* degree weather!

Nice Fatty ~

Congrats

btw - Cold Gear is Good Stuff - wore it for years and still do on occasion.

But if you not tried it, Columbia Omniheat is a bit better.

It's thinner, does not possess the 'compression' factor, Reflects body heat, Highly breathable, Reduces your need for bulky layers, Wicks moisture to keep you dry and comfortable and is just as warm if not warmer.

In what part of the country are you?

I caught my first Connecticut largemouth bass of the year, yesterday, but the surface water temperature was only 42 degrees and your fish could have eaten mine:

I have an Omniheat jacket that I use as a base layer. It’s the orange one in my photo. It works terrifically.

I live in California, the only thing I don't like about the base layers is if your wearing a jacket, you get too hot, then you take it off and your a little cold.

I just kept the jacket off, because I was running and gunning with a Lipless and the jacket I brought that day was a little too bulky for my liking made casting awkward.
