Are you talking about the flat pinned VBS on the Citica E and G?  If so the only ones I know about are orange BNT 3843.  Call Shimano.  877-577-0600.  They'll help you.

These are the same shape as the pink and gray ones that come with the Citica "E" reel.

Thanks

The color brakes on the old VBS system represent different brake weights.

Smoke/Clear- Lightest
Red/Pink- Lighter
Green- Heavier
Grey- Heaviest

Not sure on the part numbers but you can call shimano and just ask for X color.

I'm a bit confused with the square description. The brakes mentioned above are cylindrical. What reel is this for?

lets try this

As you can see they are not the common round ones..

The citica e comes with the pink ones on the spool and the heavier gray ones in the extra bag with the wrench.

As stated above the green is in between the pink and gray as far as weight is concerned.

What I was trying to figure out is what the part number of the green brakes are.

These didn't come with a citica e but will work on the spool.

Im guessing they came from a round reel.

For example the corsair 200 uses the clear square brakes but the brakes are larger.

I was hoping somebody has a reel that these green brakes came on the spool or as extras in the box.

I then could look up the part number

Thanks

Those are the same ones that E series curados/citicas used. If I remember right (it's been a long time), the E series reels all came /w a small baggie /w the different colored brake blocks in them. I unfortunately just checked my box and do not have them anymore. I vaguely remember giving them away.

However...I think this is what you are looking for:

Sorry the curado e uses round and citica e uses squared/oval. Two total different style brakes and will not interchange.

Odd. Guess I never noticed. Not sure if the Citica had green that came stock /w the reel. Green spares aren't listed on the schematics. Curados do have the green part # listed though. Neither of the 2 square green part numbers come up /w the citica being compatible.

Guess you have 2 options as there are 2 part numbers for the squared green brake collars

BNT3309

BNT2495

if you look up 3309 it says calcutta but I'm not sure if they are interchangeable. Just call shimano on monday and ask them which of those 2 fits. You can order them all over online for .99 a piece but I'm sure shimano has some in stock.

That's all i got sir.
