Super User eyedabassman Posted February 22, 2018 Super User Posted February 22, 2018 Anyone have any input on this jerkbait? I have a bunch of jerkbaits so is it worth adding this one? What sets it apart from the others, if it does? Quote
Tim Kelly Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 No idea whether it's got some magical properties, but the whole quick stopping concept seems like a daft bit of marketing. I can't think of any lipped jerkbaits that continue gliding after the pull, they all stop. Cigar shaped musky jerkbaits glide, but that's a whole other idea. Looks like a gimmick to me. I'm sure they'll catch fish, but I can't see me rushing to buy any. 2 Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted February 23, 2018 Author Super User Posted February 23, 2018 I guess it won’t kill me to pick one up! I have a ton of baits so one more , oh well! Quote
Comfortably Numb Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 I like the size. Between a Pointer 78 and a 100 Quote
Super User gim Posted February 23, 2018 Super User Posted February 23, 2018 I got sucked into buying one on sale last week in perch pattern. Its smaller than most other jerkbaits. I may not even be able to toss it on a bait caster. I will report on it when I am able to use it in June. lol 1 Quote
zeth Posted February 23, 2018 Posted February 23, 2018 Got 2 of every color. Throw it on spinning gear. Works great. Quote

Super User eyedabassman Posted February 24, 2018 Author Super User Posted February 24, 2018 You can throw it on a baitcaster Quote
