Meathead Posted February 20, 2018 Posted February 20, 2018 Hello everyone, I've grown up enjoying the outdoors it's the greatest joy in my life (don't let the kids and wife hear that) I used to tourney bass fish from ages 13 to 17 and was a member of the local bass club. My passion for bass fishing started at a lake I grew up on at my grandma's house. I had a 12' boat and a 1972 18hp evinrude "best motor I ever owned" saved my allowance for a year to get the $175 for that motor it was probably my first lesson on earning something as kid. started trying to catch bass and learned a lot from the club I joined. Life in general got me out of fishing and the spare time I had went towards hunting till now. I'm getting my kids into fishing and hoping to relearn what I have forgotten about bass. We moved to that lake I grew up on so my kids could have that same outdoors enjoyment that I had as I believe without it I would be a miserable person today. I can't fathom what people do to get enjoyment out of life when they are not into the outdoors. I have no fun in the concrete jungles (aka city) but I guess that's where those people would go have fun. More like torture for me. I will have lots of questions and making post hope some of you can guide me in right direction. -meat 2 Quote
