Primarily a bank guy, I’m big on downsizing my gear. This winter I started to actually individually roll my worms and other softies in a small strip of clear glad wrap. This way, while still being able to see and ID them I can mix different colors in a bag (2-3 of each typically) and not have any of that color bleeding through and mingling (reds and pumpkin seed colors are horrible with that).

So the question, any reason why I might not want to continue doing so? I know Saran Wrap does contain estrogen disrupters which are very bad for fish but I don’t plan on tossing them in the water etc.

thanks!

Well..

First off if it works for you it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks.

Personnaly I don't see any advantage in wrapping each separately when a divided Plano box will work just as well and all you gotta do is flip it open.

But Hey! If it works for you then it's a good thing.

Plastic wrap is always such a pain to deal with. I’m not big on color for my plastics so if a few of them bled a little on each other it’s no big deal.  Maybe the bass will like the new color better. Who knows?

yes... it's a terrible waste of Saran Wrap.  I think the possible negative effects to the local environment is greater than that of bleeding colors in your plastics.

Good question, some plastics react negatively to plastic bags if they are not worm proof.

Zip lock bags work and easy to open and close. You can use small bags with a few worms and roll up to put into a larger bag.

True.  Thanks all.

Ziploc’s take up some space  and planos  obviously a lot more  in a sling backpack. I keep one Plano fot my hard  Baits  one for my terminal tackle and that’s it. Snack bags for the win.
