Must have's in your boat??

Okay guys fill my boat???  What are the must have that every bass boat should have??

I already have a replacement TM prop w/ pin, extra plug, life jackets & tackle....What else do I need.

Aside from the safety equipment and spare parts, good electronics, strong batteries, and a strong trollingmotor are must haves for me.

TP is a must!

pretty much just safety stuff, few tools, fuses, wire, spare trailer bulb, some hose for the motor, rope, bumpers

A couple of things I keep in my boat:

Emergency flashlight (crank powered, never worry about batteries. I'm often out late)

Rain gear

normal (legally required) safety gear

extra life vests

prop wrench and spare prop

spare hat

sun block

insect repellant

I ALWAYS make sure my batteries are full up before I head out.

EDIT--- Thanks to GeorgiaSpotSticker's reminder I have to add that I always check my oil before going out too.

As my boat ages (only 2 months old right now) I'll add to this.

A couple of things I keep on my body while fishing:

digital camera

TP

long nose pliers

hook sharpener

EXTRA OIL!

Nothing will ruin a day worse than that oil light coming on, and you having to run back to the ramp and go buy some oil, or if it's so low, shut the motor down and get a tow....

Besides all the standard safty gear:

It never fail, Most of the times that I go out on the lake/river I come across some fellow that has either dead batteries or out of gas and need a tow back to the boat lanch

A good tow rope!

A set of extra long jumper cables

Sun screen Lotion

And of course plenty of good eats and drinks

GPS is a must.  Where I live I would much rather have that than a depth finder, it is too easy to get lost.  Other than that rain gear and a spare bilge pump.

going through my boat compartment by compartment i have the folloing

rear compartment port side-wipe  down rags, bottle of bassboatsaver,extra bungee cords and a flashlight

rear compartment starboard side- tools all different wrenchs, drivers,extra fuses, sunscreen,extra plug for bilge, extra prop

floor storage-dock bumpers, towrope,throwable cushion, one paddle, extra trolling motor prop

rod locker- rod and reel combos

front storage-port side-hard baits, pliers,line,and various little things  scale and measuring board and such

front storage starboard side-soft plastics, hooks,weights,jars of pork trailers,and various other items

main front storage-(life jackets when in tow, wear them on the water), shimano gear bag loaded with rain gear, extra hoodie jacket, foul weather pants and jacket, gloves, extra hat,and more gloves, some bassmaster magazines, and some extra shoes

glove box- fishing license, sunglasses,chapstick,insurance papers, and other various papers.

under drivers console the fire extinguisher is mounted

that pretty much sums up my boat, probably forgetting something but thats the basics of it.

after you load everything in your boat the very next thing you must get is a 5 BASS LIMIT

To your list of safety equipment, add a whistle or one of those hand held air horns.  It may save a very long paddle if you can get someones attention if you break down at the wrong end of the lake.

If you have a mounted gps, I would get a backup handheld and extra batteries, and a map of the water you are fishing. Nothing sucks worse than your gps crapping the bed and not being real familiar with the area you are fishing.

one thing i have that never crosses my mind in these types of topics is a set of packed wheel bearings. another thing is make sure that the lug nut wrench to your truck will fit your boat lugs as well, if not id find a 4-way.
