Super User Munkin Posted February 17, 2018 Super User Posted February 17, 2018 Here are a few finesse jigs I made recently. Allen 6 Quote
68camaro Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Very nice looking especially with the blue, I just started throwing finesse jigs and should learn to make my own to cut costs but too busy right now. Lets us know how they work out. 1 Quote

These I am making for a friend that fishes them on a spinning rod with 8lb line. The pic doesn't show how small they are compared to other jigs. Allen 1 Quote
FishDewd Posted February 18, 2018 Posted February 18, 2018 Those look pretty nice... a lot like one I recently bought actually with the skirts (the green pumpkin ones with the flake), but the heads are a little different. I want to try to make my own as well one day. Quote

Steveo-1969 Posted February 22, 2018 Posted February 22, 2018 Beautiful jigs! They look similar to Strike King Bitsy Bug jigs, but with better hook, skirt and weed guard. Does your friend use them for smallies in the Upper Potomac? 3/16 ounce is my go to weight for the river in 6 feet of water or less. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted February 23, 2018 Author Super User Posted February 23, 2018 Yes he fishes these on the UP and has done quite well in tournaments at Riverbottom and Four Locks. Adding the latest colors as the jigheads recently arrived. Allen 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 23, 2018 Global Moderator Posted February 23, 2018 Very nice, look almost exactly like a Crock-O-Gator Zapper jig Quote
