If you could only have one lure/plastic for the rest of your life but you had unlimited of it what would you choose?  Be specific like colors and stuff.  Mine would probably be a spro topwater frog in the bullfrog color even though i can't really fish it year round the blowups on it are amazing.

No contest.  A 5" Senko in color 297 (Green Pumpkin/Black Fleck).  I have caught bass in every type of water from tannic in Florida to crystal clear in Wisconsin and Michigan and stained on the Potomac.  I wrote an article for Yamamoto years ago and I came up with 78 ways to rig this bait.  I never hit the water without it.  Anywhere.

This guy right here. I use a lot of different baits all season and there’s others I’d likely get more fish on in some instances but I’ve caught more big smallies and largies on this ( or something very similar) over the years than on anything else. Also, I just love that monster thump when a huge smallmouth absolutely hammers it and near takes the rod out of my hands. Fun stuff right there.

I have to agree with @TOXIC on this one - though I don't exactly like fishing a stick bait.

And @Darren. Don't even start . . . .

^ this was almost mine, exact same color, but in a 4".

Since I'm a multi-species guy, 3" Berkley Powerbait Power Grub in Pumpkin Seed or White. I can't pick one color over the other since one resembles a craw color and the other ties to shad. This grub on a jig has personally landed me  smallies, bucketmouths, walleyes, saugeyes, channel cats, crappie, bluegill, rainbow trout, and white bass. It's so versatile within the water column. One can effectively work it as  a search bait for suspended fish to or a slower, jigging presentation off riprap areas. The spectrum is so wide.

Honorable mention: 2.5 " Black Shad Gulp! Alive! Minnow on a chartreuse Roadrunner.

I want to say frog because that's far and away my favorite way to fish. But I live in Ohio and would like to fish all year, lol. I'd have to say Senko out of pure versatility. There's tons of ways I can present a senko to a bass

Edit: color would probably be green pumpkin

Yellow hula popper. . . .maybe won't catch the most, but I like fishing those. I grew up loving to fish em and I still really enjoy it.

Killer pre spawn tactic. Have you ever tried punching a squarebill?

I'd probably have to go with a watermelon red baby brush hog. Extremely versatile and a proven slayer in my neck of the woods. I suppose if it came to it I could burn it on top like a frog(ish) to feed my topwater fetish lol

If I was forced to only fish with 1 lure for bass I would fish with the lure that has helped me catch most of my big bass.

I'd definitely have to go with my pink drop shot rigged deps 250, it's killer year around. Rig it with a 5lb weight and you can smash it straight through ice in the winter, or punch with it in the summer. Go with a 1lb weight for a more finesse approach.
