Hello, I am thinking of buying a little boat like a bass pro shops pond prowler or sun dolphin sportsman, just something small to get around on the water for cheap. Anyways, I don't have a truck to put it into and was wondering if anybody knows if there are trailers I can buy or if I can make one homemade for cheap. If anybody has any experience with these boats any help is appreciated.

You may check at you Lowes hardware or harbor freight if you have one nearby.  Those in my area carry some light duty utility trailers that should suit your needs.

I use an 8 ft Bass Hunter.  Used to own a Pond Prowler (bps).  The PP is thinner plastic and will wear holes from dragging.  Also, the PP doesn't track without a rudder on the back.  It would spin like a leaf on the water in the wind!  The BH tracks straight.

I bought a lawn mower trailer to carry it on.  Good luck!

Have an 8’ BH that’s over 20 years old and still going strong.

Trailers are a hassle and get in the way with boats this small imo.

If your fairly healthy you can throw it on the roof of your car, not that hard to do. Yes I did it for some years with my car with a roof rack.

More recent years just plop in back of my truck.

I was looking at Harbor freight for a trailer and it appears they are no longer selling them. Just parts, pieces, and accessories.  I'm taking a serious look at Northern tools jet ski trailer for my kayak but they did have some pretty good looking utility types that may fit your needs.

Best of luck in your search.

I was also thinking Lowes or Harbor Frieght. Also check Home Depot or even Craigs List.

I found this reply from Harbor freight to a customer inquiry regarding the suspension of sales of their utility trailers.

Thank you for contacting Harbor Freight Tools.

It has come to our attention that some of our utility trailer tires and replacement tires are not in compliance with certain DOT standards. We are temporarily suspending the sale of our utility trailers and replacement trailer tires while we conduct additional *pliance tests.

We regret any inconvenience and appreciate your business.

Check craigslist and or Facebook marketplace for an older jet ski trailer or small sailboat trailer. Can usually be found for around $100-$150.
