I might be the only one who cares, but it appears the Mighty Bug is being discontinued.  Only one color and size left on the Yum and Lurenet sites.  There used to be more sizes, but they whittled down to one last year.

I have a small stockpile; started off as one of my first plastics, catch fish on them on T-rigs and also fished on surface as toad substitutes.

Not too durable but they worked for me.

Has always been a great smallmouth plastic for me. Hate to see it discontinued

Maybe I am starting a rumor here, but the fact none are in stock fits the pattern for the demise of similar baits.

I believe you are correct. Google search found that Yum stopped making them back in 2015 and it's just taken this long to move through the stock.

I've bought several packs in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart. Never had much luck with them but I know guys that do.

Wal-Mart bargain bin is where I see them.

3 or 4 summers ago the 3" YUM Mighty Bug was my best river smallmouth producer.  Either T-rigged or on a jig head.  I have a couple bags of larger Bugs but I haven't fished one in a couple years.  Loved that 3" bait though!

They look cool. I never tried them.

I have used the Yum 3" wooly hawg tail gp for Guadalupe bass on the river here and they love them.

Just picked some 3 for 6 at my tackle shop. Looked into em and this is the first post I find! Better take care of em

Interested to see this post resurrected.  I bought a bunch of packs in my first year fishing them from TW and Lurenet.  The primary downside I found is that they are not very durable.  The upside is that they are extremely effective as topwater toads.  (Yep, I know they are craws).

No longer surfacing in Walmarts that I check out.  I think the stock is pretty well exhausted.

I will miss the bait, but others will suffice.
