ThomasL Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Buy another boat that you have found a good deal on and hope that you would be able to sell the one you have.I have found a procraft in the size i like but will need to sell my aluminum rig,has anyone else chanced doing this? Quote
Triton21 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Depends on the price and the boat market in your area. We are over 1/2 way into the fishing season and it may not sell till spring. If you can afford to hold on to your boat that long go for the Pro Craft. Kelley Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted July 27, 2007 Super User Posted July 27, 2007 Around here boats quit selling after July 4. They pick up again for a few weeks in Oct. The next spurt is during the late winter boat shows. I personally, wouldn't want 2 boats unless I was willing to give someone a good deal on the one I wanted to unload. Quote
bassboy1 Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 What is the matter with two boats? MBS (multiple boat syndrome) is the best disease I have ever gotten. I am hoping to get a more severe case of it in the coming months. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted July 27, 2007 Super User Posted July 27, 2007 I'd only buy if you can afford to wait till a better time of the year to unload your old boat. From now until next spring isnt' the time. Quote
RobDar Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 If you have the money and a place to store both boats...go for it... coming across the boat you want at the price you want to pay does not happen everyday... Quote
IllinoisBasser Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 If I could financially do it, I would. If you are looking for somewhere to store one of those boats, I happen to have open space in my garage, just make sure you keep the key in the ignition. ;D Quote
R520dvx Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Like the others have said, might not move your boat til spring .... might consider Ebay ... I'm amazed at the prices boats bring on there. Quote
