I went to bass pro shops, cabelas, and academy sports today just to get out. I was hoping to find an old favorite of mine that was discontinued. The closest I found in color was by heddon. Not really what i was wanting. Was wondering if anyone knows where to find a white bodied pop-r with a full red head? I'm searching online now that I couldn't find one at those 3 places and I'm still not finding anything. Million colors out there weird I can't find a simple one like this. Uploading a photo of what I'm after or similar. It may be a long shot but figured I'd ask.Screenshot_20180208-223629.thumb.png.6b01f0c67e1166cd6f08236fa47b91b2.png

I was at Field and stream recently and they had em. Was just like your pic except the red didn't fade out.

There's a few over on Ebay.  Type in Pop-r and scroll thru 'em.

Get you a couple of old ones in any color at any fishing flea market and strip in down to bone, you'll never go back. Or...

Yes a few on eBay. Thats were I recently scored on new old stock Bandits in a few old vintage colors. I use the term vintage loosely more like discontinued colors. Price was not out of line.

But you could make that yourself if you wanted to very easily. Collector purpose is something different story.

Do you know what brand by chance?

Sorry I just joined the forums and hadn't setup my notifications yet. I want to say it was a Heddon or it may have actually been a Rebel. Honestly I would just buy a plain white one and paint as much Red on it as you want.

Lurenet has the complete inventory for rebel and 11 other brands owed by the parent company. I searched all the pop-rs and I failed to see the red white.  Perhaps if you write them, they may make them again.

Clown color is far more popular then vintage white with red head color pattern.

Thanks for taking the time to look. It really surprised me some on out there doesn't. But like he said clown color has become more popular. I just want one. I caught so many fish on a red/white pop r. It's just a personal thing on why I want it. Mainly the memories. I'm sure there's a ton out there that will catch em just the same

Thanks for the help guys I appreciate you all taking the time to respond and even go out your way to look for me.

I feel your pain.  My favorite color is the frog pattern....also no longer made.  And it has to be the one with a textured finish, not smooth.  They show up from time to time on Ebay and I grab them when I can.

You just need to set your saved searches and have them email you with new listings.

Good Luck!

BTW, if you look at bass "plugs" through the ages, you'll find with very few exceptions that the most renown ones were made in a white/red head pattern.  Just 'cause they stopped makin' 'em doesn't mean they won't still catch fish.

The Red-Head Rebel pop r is a tough find. Ebay is your best bet. I know some folks that have a few but they will not sell them.

I don't blame them lol.

The one I'm seeing on eBay 6 of us is bidding on so I can see it either taking a while to get one or get expensive getting it. Stripping and repainting one may be my best bet
