Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. Just signed up here. Live in Dallas, Texas. I am on the water 3-4 times a week. If I set the hook on anything other than a Largemouth it's on accident. Fish shallow almost exclusively, 12 months out of the year (thank you Texas). Flippin a big jig w/ 65lb braid in heavy shallow cover is my preferred and go to method of getting bit. Personal Best bass is 12lb. 8oz caught in January in 3' flippin a 5/8 oz jig. 5 double digit fish thus far under my belt. Proudly run a Bass Cat Cougar, Lowrance electronics, 8' blades, Kistler Rods, and Shimano reels. Thanks for having me. Tight lines.

Welcome to the site!  Bass fishing comes first but you gotta go after some other species too!  It's too much fun.  I don't think I could go a summer without catfishing or sturgeon fishing here and there!

I actually grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains in CA (close to Yosemite; 8000ft above sea level) fly fishing for Brook, Golden, Brown Trout and cutthroat. But ever since moving South to Texas and getting that first jig bite flippin....I don't think I can go back haha. I've accidentally ran into a couple giant flatheads crankin or football jig deep, but it usually ends in me cutting the line before they get to the boat haha.
