Tom Bass Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 Nice job! But I hate to say it but you sure will be sitting aweful high in such a narrow boat. Wear your PFD for safety. Quote
MattStrykul Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 Tomn I know what your saying but this boat is real stable. We are going to shorten the seats anyways, we are too short for them ;D Quote
Cajun1977 Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 probably the best looking jonboat transform ive ever seen nice job Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted July 17, 2007 Super User Posted July 17, 2007 Very nice job. I couldn't figure out how you steered it until I looked at further pictures. Quote
MattStrykul Posted July 18, 2007 Author Posted July 18, 2007 Haha. It steers where the fish are. Quote
fishbear Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 CAn you post the pics from start to finish???? Awesome job by the way.. Quote
bassboy1 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 How on earth do you drive that thing? Seems like strap in and hang on with white knuckles. I would suggest having a second short (deck height) pedestal, so that when driving you sit lower, and more stable. Then, when at the fishing hole, lift seat, and drop in extension. Quote
MattStrykul Posted July 19, 2007 Author Posted July 19, 2007 We take the seat out real quick and sit on the ground. The deck also flips up into a seat if your not in a hurry...... Quote
flyphisher # Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Nice work... good engineering.... how much weight did it add? Quote
bernard13 Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 did a nice job, i would never imagine a boat like that to come out how it did good work Quote
