Anybody know where to find offset hooks with built in bullet weight in larger hook sizes?  Looking for 5/0 and 7/0, largest found so far is 4/0 at Bass pro shops.

Forgive my ignorance as I never use these, but why not just peg a bullet weight in front of an EWG hook?

This is what I do, seems like it would be cheaper and way more customizable to me. Need smaller? Go smaller. Need bigger? Go bigger. Wanna add a skirt? Easy.

Fair enough. I would think having an infinite choice of weights and an infinite choice of hooks would be more customizable than having the two linked more or less but that's just me, do what works for you I guess.

I think we're saying the same thing, i peg my weights, i dont use the hooks with an attatched weight.

Oh oop,s my bad, yea we're on the same page. For some reason I thought you were the OP. I took "This is what I do" to mean that you use the hooks the OP is inquiring about.

I appreciate the comments and suggestions.  I'm not the most experienced with fishing a texas rig, but it seems like the hooks with the weight built in don't get caught up on vegetation as easily.  I haven't tried pegging the weight though, makes sense.

Simplicity, I like the Jobee style jigheads that way I don't have to worry with a popper stop, weight, hook as it is all in one. A lot quicker to tie and overall easier to use.

Can't argue with ease of use. I guess I just prefer being able to choose my own hook and weight. I fish most of my worms on tungsten weights and straight shank hooks so these aren't very practical for me.
