Does anyone know if there are aftermarket reel handles available for a Curado 100B? I have two and they're a two of my favorite reels even though they are "outdated." I would like to upgrade to a newer, slightly longer reel handle (and star drag if need be) though but don't know where to start online. Would appreciate any first-hand knowledge. Quote

The Bassman Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Also, any straight Shimano handle will fit. I have a Chronarch 200E handle on mine. It looks like it was designed to be there. I also have a Chronarch 50 MG spool in mine which makes it a completely different animal. Casts as well as my newer stuff. I find myself reaching for it all the time over my Ald 50. 1 Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted February 1, 2018 Super User Posted February 1, 2018 love my 101b! i have a swept 96mm handle on mine, but i put an aftermarket drag star on it to allow for the swept handle. you can get a 94mm (i think) straight handle from hawgtech and they are legit! Quote
