LAO162 Posted January 30, 2018 Posted January 30, 2018 In response to a question to Kistler Rods, I receive the attached chart highlighting the differences in the Kistler lineup. Since the models are priced fairly similarly, I've been trying to understand how the models differ. So far, this chart is the best source of information I've found yet. Leon 1 Quote
Scrapiron Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 Thanks for sharing, that was helpful. Quote
Chance_Taker4 Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 The 2018 Heliums have Blue Winn Grips but can get cork if you special request it through their website. Also the Z-Bone is "Discontinued" with a new version coming in the next couple months with new components and a new blank. So when using this chart make sure you are buying the 2016 or 2017 models. If it stats 2018 models they are different. Quote

I just bought a Helium 3 this month (labeled 2018) without any special requests and it showed up with cork. Quote

Scrapiron Posted January 31, 2018 Posted January 31, 2018 I have a Magnesium 2 with the Winn grip and a Helium with cork. The Winn grip is fine, but I guess I'm a cork guy. Quote
